? We’re hiring: QA Functional Analyst | Madrid

At Capitole , we keep growing and we are looking for a QA Functional Analyst to join an international project, working closely with Business, Product, Development and QA teams.

? Location: Madrid

? Hybrid model: 2–3 days per week at the office

? Languages: High level of English and French

? What will you be doing?

? Analyse business and customer needs and translate them into technical-functional requirements and solutions.

? Review Release Notes and validate new functionalities.

? Design and execute functional and regression testing to ensure release quality.

? Participate in workshops with Product Owners and business stakeholders to define new features and requirements.

? Gather and formalise business needs, rules and functional requirements.

? Write technical-functional specifications, User Stories and test cases .

? Perform API and web services testing using Postman or Insomnia .

? Work with REST/SOAP services and application integrations .

? Collaborate with Development and QA teams throughout the testing lifecycle.

? Analyse, reproduce and document production incidents.

? Manage bugs, incidents and provider tickets through Jira .

? Participate in technical-functional L2 support activities.

? Track test execution, results and functional analysis progress.

? Contribute to test automation and the continuous improvement of QA processes.

? What are we looking for?

✔️ 1–5+ years of experience in Functional QA, Functional Testing and/or Technical-Functional Analysis.

✔️ Solid experience in functional and regression testing .

✔️ Experience with API testing, Postman/Insomnia, REST and SOAP .





✔️ Experience using Jira for bug and incident management.

✔️ Ability to write User Stories, functional specifications and test documentation.

✔️ Good understanding of application integrations and complex information systems.

✔️ Strong analytical mindset with a quality-oriented approach.

✔️ Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities effectively.

✔️ Strong communication skills and experience working with technical teams, vendors and business stakeholders.

✔️ High level of English and French – C1 would be highly valued.

➕ Previous experience in transportation and/or e-commerce environments would be a plus.
