Experteer Overview In this role you will lead NextPower’s Integral Packaging Engineering, shaping strategy across the product portfolio. You’ll oversee a global team, ensuring packaging standards and sustainability are embedded from design to launch. You’ll drive returnable packaging programs and cost optimization while partnering with engineering, procurement, quality and manufacturing. This is a hands-on leadership position with global scope and a focus on scalable, compliant packaging solutions that protect value and enable growth.Compensaciones / Beneficios
- Develop and own the Global Packaging Engineering strategy aligned to priorities with emphasis on standardization, quality, sustainability and cost optimization
- Lead and develop the global Packaging Engineering team across regions and functions
- Represent Packaging Engineering in NPI, ensuring packaging is considered from early design through industrialization
- Drive returnable packaging programs, including technical solutions, business cases, supplier deployment
- Establish and maintain global packaging standards, specifications, guidelines and validation requirements
- Create scalable packaging solutions for existing and new products across technologies and business verticals
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to validate designs and drive improvements
- Lead value engineering and total landed cost initiatives including packaging, transport, handling,



and warehousing impacts
- Drive continuous improvement in packaging processes through automation, standardization and sustainability
- Set KPIs and governance for packaging performance, compliance, cost improvements, and returnable packaging effectiveness
- Support packaging integration for new products and acquired businesses with common standards and ways of working
- Maintain hands-on engagement with suppliers, manufacturing sites and project/customer sites globallyResponsabilidades
- 15+ years in industrial Packaging Engineering in manufacturing or packaging solutions
- Bachelor or Master in Packaging Engineering or Mechanical/Industrial Engineering with packaging specialization
- Strong knowledge of packaging materials, design, specs and validation
- Experience with returnable packaging programs
- People-management experience across multiple locations/time zones
- Experience in global manufacturing, automotive, energy or similar industrial environment
- Cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Logistics and suppliers
- Ability to blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Strong change-management and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Fluent English
