- Lead and develop a two-person data science team, setting objectives and providing growth support
- Stay hands-on in delivery of the most complex projects and uphold technical standards through code reviews and pairing
- Plan, prioritize, and manage team backlog to ensure predictable delivery
- Develop business insights by solving strategic challenges using data
- Own and implement the data science roadmap in partnership with leadership
- Build, deploy, and maintain ML models to forecast trends and optimize processes
- Analyze large datasets and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders




- Advise on and improve the data science pipeline to meet analytics needs
- Collaborate closely with business, product, and engineering teams to ensure data solutions meet requirements
- Stay up-to-date with trends in data science, AI, and ML to enhance team capabilitiesResponsabilidades
- Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of data science experience, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role
- Proven leadership experience managing data scientists and delivery
- Hands-on ability to write production-quality code and review team output
- Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and defending team priorities
- Strong understanding of business operations and aligning data projects with business goals
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical insights for varied audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills with complex and unstructured data
- Proficiency in Python, R, or Scala; experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, Scikit-learn); SQL; cloud platforms (AWS, Azure); big data tools (Hadoop,Spark)Requisitos principales
