Overview In this role you will own and evolve the regulatory compliance framework for Spain and Europe, guiding obligations management and assurance across the business. You will partner with leadership to embed controls, manage incidents, and drive remediation. You will lead risk-based assurance activities and report to the Executive Leadership Team and Board on compliance status.
The role supports employment, immigration, payroll, privacy, and broader financial crime and contractual obligations, operating at multi-jurisdictional scale with cross-functional collaboration. This is a chance to shape a scalable compliance program for a next-generation data centre company.
Responsabilidades
- Own and evolve the regulatory compliance framework across Spain and Europe (inform, comply, assure).
- Maintain the register of obligations, monitor regulatory change, and ensure owners are aware of impacts.
- Partner with business leaders to design and operate controls meeting obligations; drive remediation for non-compliance; manage incidents end-to-end.
- Lead risk-based assurance activities, identify control gaps, and coordinate executive and board assurances.
- Support employment law, immigration, payroll compliance and privacy in collaboration with People and Culture; support financial crime and contractual obligation monitoring.
- Prepare and deliver reporting to the Board's Audit and Risk Committee; collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to apply governance across jurisdictions.
- Stand up governance structures and scalable risk/compliance management technology and tooling.
Requisitos principales
- 8-10+ years' experience in risk, compliance, governance, audit, legal or commercial roles with ownership of large, multi-jurisdictional environments.
- Experience with regulators handling breaches and remediation; interpretation of contractual/legal obligations across supplier, customer, and financing agreements.
- Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks across Spain and Europe; expertise in employment law, immigration, payroll compliance and privacy.
- Ability to build frameworks, registers, governance models, and processes from the ground up across risk management, compliance and business continuity.
- Experience in large, complex environments such as data centres, banking, infrastructure, energy or technology.
