Experteer Overview
In this role you will design and build AI-powered agents that automate and augment Preply’s software engineering workflows. You will create reusable agent capabilities and integrations to connect AI with our engineering ecosystem, while driving rapid experimentation and scalable adoption. You’ll shape agentic workflows across Engineering, Product, Design, and Data, balancing AI value with human judgment. Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Design and build AI agents and the harness powering them using Python
• Create reusable agent capabilities, tools and integrations with the engineering ecosystem and internal knowledge
• Develop agentic workflows across Engineering, Product, Design and Data, including coding, testing and code review
• Experiment rapidly with new AI capabilities from PoC to scalable adoption
• Design context, orchestration and verification mechanisms for reliable agentic workflows
• Measure agent usage and value, using data to improve them
• Decide where AI adds value vs. where human judgment is essential,



and how they should complement each other
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product and data teams to drive adoption and identify automation opportunities

Responsabilidades
• Extensive backend experience (~8 years)
• Strong Python backend development experience
• Hands-on experience building AI agents or agentic workflows
• Understanding of modern agentic AI patterns (context management, tool use, orchestration, evaluation/verification)
• Experience integrating AI with APIs, internal tools, codebases and engineering systems
• Ability to take ideas from experiments/PoC to robust, scalable solutions
• Strong experimentation mindset and data-driven decision making
• Good understanding of distributed systems and backend architectures for reliable AI-powered systems
• Strong product thinking and ability to map solutions to measurable outcomes
• Strong communication; minimum C1 English
