Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead and advance EHS programs across a regional footprint, partnering with operations and facility leadership to strengthen safety performance and regulatory compliance. You will balance hands-on field support with strategic leadership to drive the regional and general EHS roadmap. You will assess capital projects, support incident investigations, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to influence safe operations at scale within Greif’s packaging-focused business and contribute to sustainable, compliant manufacturing.

• Provide direct EHS support to manufacturing and facilities through site visits, audits, and leadership engagement
• Collaborate with regional leadership to improve EHS performance and safety culture
• Review EHS aspects of capital projects, equipment installations, and process changes
• Support EPAR, FAT, commissioning, startup reviews, and operational readiness with EHS integration
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification
• Coach facility leaders, EHS professionals, and engineers on regulatory requirements and best practices
• Implement corporate, regional, and facility-level EHS initiatives and improvement projects
• Identify compliance risks and develop sustainable corrective actions for audits and inspections




• Analyze EHS performance data and leading indicators to drive proactive risk reduction
• Support regulatory inspections, customer audits, and external engagements
• Share lessons learned and best practices across facilities to improve consistency
• Translate strategic EHS priorities into actionable plans with measurable results
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, HR, and Supply Chain to integrate EHS into core processes
• Develop and improve EHS standards, procedures, and governance documents
• Coach and develop EHS resources and operational leaders to strengthen capability
• Monitor regulatory trends and best practices to enhance programs
• Performs other duties as assigned

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 10+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
• Experience supporting multiple facilities or regions
• Proven incident investigation, risk assessment, audit, and compliance track record
• Experience with capital projects, machine safety programs, and contractor safety management (preferred)
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, ISO Lead Auditor (preferred)
