Overview
As Vendor Program Head, you will steer the DU vendor strategy and oversee vendor delivery for clinical development programs. You will lead a global vendor management community and partner with DU leadership to align vendor activities with development priorities and milestones. Your role drives quality, efficiency, and timely outsourcing outcomes while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This is a strategic, cross-functional leadership role with a clear impact on patient outcomes and program success.

Responsabilidades
- Lead DU-aligned Vendor Program Strategy Directors and Trial Vendor Management community to achieve DU vendor portfolio and clinical trial objectives
- Own and execute the DU-level vendor strategy, ensuring alignment with development priorities, operational goals, portfolio demand, and trial milestones
- Build and develop high-performing, inclusive teams with an emphasis on accountability and continuous improvement
- Assess portfolio health and evolve vendor strategies using lessons learned and innovative approaches
- Serve as the primary VPG partner to the GCO DU Head and collaborate with senior stakeholders to align priorities and drive portfolio outcomes
- Represent VPG in DU strategic planning to surface vendor demand, risks, mitigation, and opportunities for standardization or innovation
- Lead through organizational change while maintaining focus on quality, delivery, and patient impact
Requisitos principales
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years in pharmaceutical clinical drug development
- Proven experience leading global teams within a complex matrix organization
- Extensive knowledge of clinical development processes and alignment of vendor objectives to DU priorities
- Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills including engagement with senior leaders
