Service Coordinator & Functional Designer

Location: Hybrid — 2 days on-site, 3 days versátil

We are looking for a Service Coordinator & Functional Designer to join a small, collaborative team supporting a range of internal corporate applications.

This is a versatile role combining project coordination, functional analysis, stakeholder management and second-line support. You will work closely with internal IT teams, business stakeholders and external technology partners to ensure applications and projects run smoothly.

The role

As a Service Coordinator, you will:

- Coordinate activities between internal IT teams, including infrastructure and networking, and external vendors.
- Act as the central point of contact for assigned projects and initiatives.
- Follow projects from setup and implementation through to aftercare.
- Coordinate stakeholders, actions, timelines and communication.
- Support second-line analysis and resolution of application-related issues.

As a Functional Designer, you will:

- Analyze incoming business requirements, questions and issues.
- Perform initial diagnosis and identify the appropriate solution path.
- Translate requirements and problems into clear, structured functional specifications.
- Work with technical teams or third parties to ensure requirements are correctly understood and implemented.
- Design test scenarios and coordinate testing activities for selected projects.

This is not a hands-on development role. The focus is on understanding business needs, analyzing situations and clearly specifying what needs to be delivered.

What you will work on





You will contribute to a variety of applications and projects supporting internal services, including:

- Healthcare and workplace support applications
- Restaurant and catering applications
- Facility management solutions, including ServiceNow
- Access management and badge control systems

Examples of upcoming activities include supporting the implementation of new applications, coordinating vendors and internal IT teams, managing testing activities and providing second-line support to users.

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone with approximately 3–4 years of relevant professional experience. This role is suited to a solid junior-to-mid-level professional rather than a recent graduate or highly senior profile.

You bring:

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience coordinating projects or multi-party activities.
- The ability to move comfortably between different applications, projects and stakeholder groups.
- Experience with project planning and follow-up.
- A structured approach to documenting requirements and writing functional specifications.
- An agile mindset is a plus.
- Familiarity with SQL is an advantage, but not essential.
- An interest in learning ServiceNow and contributing to basic configuration is a plus.

You do not need to be a developer. What matters most is your ability to understand, analyze, coordinate and communicate.

Languages

- French and Dutch: fluent/native level required
- English: professional working proficiency required
