Structural Engineer / Junior Project Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a Structural Engineer / Junior Project Engineer to support the design, analysis, and delivery of steel structure engineering projects. The successful candidate will work across the full project lifecycle, from design and calculations through to procurement, manufacturing, and construction support.

Responsibilities

- Design new steel structures and modifications to existing assets
- Perform structural calculations and engineering studies
- Develop and review finite element models
- Support tendering, procurement, and manufacturing activities
- Provide technical support during construction and installation
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and design teams




- Contribute to the development and improvement of engineering tools and calculation methods

Requirements

- Degree in Structural, Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline
- Experience in the design of steel structures
- Knowledge of structural calculations and engineering analysis
- Familiarity with Eurocodes and structural design standards
- Experience with engineering and finite element software such as RFEM, SCIA, Robot, SAP2000, STAAD, ANSYS, or similar
- Fluent in Dutch or French with a good level of English
- Comfortable working within multidisciplinary engineering teams
