Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer
Your Role
Join a dynamic engineering team focused on Energy Conversion Solutions within the Oil-Free Air division. This team is on a mission to develop sustainable solutions by launching a new product range centered on steam processes.
As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will:
- Lead projects from concept to completion, witnessing products evolve from ideas and lab prototypes to full-scale production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape products, production flows, logistics, sales processes, and aftermarket support.
- Work closely with project leaders and engineers in both local and international settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Select and specify main electrical components (e.g., motors, variable speed drives, solenoid valves, sensors, contactors, transformers, filters).
- Coordinate the design and release of electrical schematics, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and wiring.
- Define, program, and implement control strategies, translating them into software and hardware solutions.
- Follow up on the qualification of electrical components and electrical cabinet design with suppliers.
- Oversee the realization of electrical cabinets and wiring.
- Troubleshoot quality and performance issues in production and field installations, implementing permanent solutions.
- Apply and ensure compliance with international standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, UL, CSA, IEEE).
- Document and share knowledge acquired during projects.
What You Bring
- Education: Engineering degree (or equivalent experience).
Technical Skills:
- Passion for electrical design and strong general technical knowledge.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and E-Plan is a plus.
- Experience in machine controls and control programming (e.g., Siemens TIA or Simatic) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Fluent English (Dutch is a plus).
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Experience in a product development environment is a strong advantage.
- Mindset: Proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented with a focus on innovation and problem-solving.
