We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java / Angular Developer to join a high-impact project for the European Commission. This role is open strictly for Freelancers / Project-based Contractors.

Please note: Due to strict tender requirements, candidates who do not meet the minimum experience criteria cannot be considered.

Mandatory Requirements (Strict Pass/Fail Criteria)

- 10+ years of experience in Front-End development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- 5+ years of experience with Angular
- 10+ years of experience with Java & Spring Framework
- 10+ years of experience with Relational Databases (Oracle or PostgreSQL)

Technical Stack & Desirable Expertise

- Front-End: Angular (v14+), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Back-End: Java (v17+), Spring 6 / Spring Boot 3, JPA/Hibernate, Quarkus, JSF, EJB
- Data & Messaging: PostgreSQL (schema design & query optimization), Apache NiFi, Apache Ignite, ElasticSearch, Apache Kafka, JAX-WS/JAX-RS
- Cloud & DevOps:



Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Hexagonal Architecture
- Testing & Tools: JUnit, Cucumber, TDD, SonarQube, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo)
- Methodology: Agile / SCRUM

Certifications (Bonus Points)

- Oracle Certified (Associate / Professional Java Programmer / Web Component Developer)

Soft Skills & Languages

- Languages: Full professional proficiency in English (spoken & written). French is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication skills in multi-lingual team environments.
- Autonomous, result-driven mindset with quick ramp-up capacity.
