Senior lawyer with 4–6 years’ experience in Conflicts of Interest and In-House Compliance Unit. JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking to hire a senior legal specialist,with 4–6 years of experience, to join the Conflict & Validation Unit withinthe Cuatrecasas In-House Compliance team at our Madrid office.The successful candidate will be part of the teamresponsible for risk assessment when onboarding new clients, matters, andpayers, performing the tasks and functions specific to the specialty area. Weare looking for a candidate with a strategic vision and sound legal judgmentwho wants to play a key role in the firm's risk management. RESPONSIBILITIESThe main responsibilities are:Analysis of potential ethical conflicts of interestwhen taking on new matters and clients, applying the Spanish Code of LegalPractice and current ethical regulations to guarantee independence and dueloyalty in each engagement.Analysis of potential risks arising fromrelationships between clients and their corporate groups (including parentcompanies, subsidiaries, financing and financed entities, and related parties),and anticipating situations that could compromise the firm's position. Analysis of potential risks from new payers to the firm, contributing to the prevention of regulatory and reputational risks.



Fluid and constructive communication with the firm’s partners, controllers, and assistants, acting as a trusted point of contact in conflicts of interest.Reporting to the Head of the Conflict &Validation Unit and the firm's Compliance Department, contributing to the continuous improvement of the unit's processes and criteria. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor of Laws or Business Administration andManagement.Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in LegalCounsel, Compliance, or in the conflict resolution unit of a law firm. Knowledge of professional ethics, especially regarding the Spanish Code of Legal Practice and its practical application to the identification and resolution of conflicts of interest. Solid understanding of corporate dynamics, groupstructures, M&A transactions, and restructuring and financing, enabling thequick identification of risks arising from intercompany relationships.Professionalism, commitment, proactivity, andautonomy.
