In this role you will help shape Siri’s Norwegian experience by applying ML, NLP, and software engineering to deliver globally scalable, culturally aware voice and language features. You will act as the technical anchor for the Norwegian market, leading ML and GenAI initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams across Apple. You will work on end-to-end systems, from data experiments to production-ready models and software, aimed at delighting Norwegian users.

This is a high-impact role at the intersection of ML, data, and software engineering, with a strong focus on user experience and native language support.

- Lead design and implementation of large-scale ML and GenAI solutions for Siri, with a Norwegian-market focus

- Conduct data experiments and optimize end-to-end user experiences for Norwegian users
- Translate research and modeling outcomes into production-ready software across languages and markets

Responsabilidades

- Hands-on experience with large language models (fine-tuning, prompts, evaluation, inference)
- Experience with speech technologies (ASR, TTS, pronunciation modeling)
- Multilingual/cross-lingual modeling, transfer learning, or low-resource settings
- Ability to formulate research problems, design experiments, xugodme implement solutions, and communicate results
- Strong product focus with emphasis on end-user experience
- Proficiency in Python, Swift, Objective-C, C++ or C; Apple platforms preferred
- M.S. or Ph.D. in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Professional fluency in Norwegian with deep cultural familiarity
- Experience applying ML/NLP to deliver products and maintaining large production codebases
- Experience working with data at scale and making data-driven decisions
