What You'll Do:
We are looking for a talented and motivated tax accountant to join our tax accountant team. The position is based in Barcelona and reports to the GL Tax team leader in Paris.
Main Responsibilities:
- Validation of all tax calculations for entities located in Europe and MEA with the assistance of local tax advisors
- Validation of all tax entries in SAP and all tax payments
- Performing reconciliations and analyses of the tax balance sheet and P&L; accounts
- Tax audits: Assisting with local tax audits and responding to inquiries from tax authorities
- Participation in monitoring tax regulatory compliance changes
- SOX controls: Verifying all SOX tax control documentation
- Tax documentation: Preparing of tax documentation required by third, internal parties and tax authorities
- Improvement of accounting and financial processes,



by particularly through the optimization of tools and the automation of low-value-added tasks

Who You Are:
- At least 3 years of experience in an international tax accounting department
- Highly organized, autonomous, rigorous, communication skills
- Fluent in English (Spanish and French will be a plus but not mandatory)
- Demonstrated attention to detail with proven accuracy
- Knowledge of SAP, SAP Brim, Advanced Excel, Power BI, Oracle (will be a plus but not mandatory)
