Junior Assistant Broker - Reinsurance

In this position, you will support Senior Brokers in the Marine Practice (LATAM, Caribbean & EMEA) with activities such as:

Reviewing Marine submissions, such as Cargo, Hull & Machinery, Marine Liabilities, Ports & Terminals, and gathering technical exposure data from cedants and corporate clients across the Regions
Helping to prepare and present terms, benchmarking analysis, and placement proposals to network partners and clients
Assisting with firm order broking via FDT, electronic placement platforms, and direct market communications
Reviewing draft and final MRCs (Market Reform Contracts), policy slips, and wordings with support from senior brokers
Preparing and sending cover confirmations, cover notes, and endorsements to clients and regional network offices




Responding to routine accounting and claims queries for marine accounts and escalating complex loss scenarios as needed
Working in accordance with Aon Iberias Risk Management Framework, ensuring strict compliance with local DGSFP regulations, international sanctions, and Aon policies
Ideally but not required, experience in the Insurance/Reinsurance industry
Bilingual in Spanish
At least B2 in English
Ability to use industry IT systems, placement platforms and data tools to deliver efficient client service.
Build a specialized career in Marine (Re)Insurance, gaining exposure to complex international risks including Marine Cargo, Project Cargo/DSU, Hull, and Port Infrastructure
Work alongside senior brokers handling some of the largest general and regional marine, logistics, and maritime infrastructure accounts
