Job Description The tax professional joining Duracell will be part of the new Global Tax Compliance team within the Global Tax Team, based at Duracell GBS in Barcelona, Spain.
In this role, you will be responsible for VAT/GST and Intrastat compliance, ideally across multiple jurisdictions. The role combines day‐to‐day tax compliance responsibilities with the opportunity to support VAT/GST‐related queries and projects, including changes in supply chain, IT system redesign and optimization, changes in legislation, and emerging live reporting obligations.
The idóneo candidate will bring proven expertise in VAT/GST and Intrastat compliance, together with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different functions and with external partners.
Perform reconciliations.
Provide internal and external audit support.
Involvement in various projects impacting VAT/GST, such as concerning changes in supply chain, IT system re‐design and optimization, changes in lesgislation, emerging live reporting obligations.




Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
~3–5 years of experience in VAT/GST compliance; Previous experience within an international/multinational company, ideally in a Finance or Accounting department. Excellent/fluent English – essential. Advanced Excel skills and strong hands‐on experience.
