The Operations HSE Specialist will be responsible for leading, implementing, and continuously improving Health, Safety and Environmental programs across Hitachi Energy operations in the EU HUB.How you'll make an impact: Supporting business leaders in achieving HSE objectives and fostering a positive safety culture.
Ensuring compliance with applicable legal, customer, and corporate HSE requirements.
Conducting risk assessments and supporting the implementation of effective mitigation measures.
Monitoring HSE performance indicators and driving continuous improvement initiatives.




Leading incident investigations and ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Supporting contractor management, site inspections, audits, and management reviews.
Delivering HSE training, awareness programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to promote best practices and operational excellence.
Supporting sustainability and environmental compliance initiatives.
Your background: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field; knowledge of high-voltage and medium-voltage environments is highly valued.5 to 10 years of Operational HSE experience, preferably within the energy sector.
Strong expertise in electrical safety and supporting safe operations in complex industrial settings.
Proven track record of implementing and driving HSE improvement programmes and translating general strategies into effective local execution.
