- Paternity Leave Cover (DP) We are looking for a Design Technology and Mathematics Teacher to cover a paternity leave, with an expected start date in mid-September 2026.

The initial cover period will be approximately 6 weeks, corresponding to the compulsory period of paternity leave.

In addition, a further period of cover is expected from mid-January 2027, when the teacher is expected to take the remaining months of parental leave, approximately until April 2027.We offer a gross annual salary of €34,304, with the possibility of additional allowances and supplements.

Mission To inspire students to develop strong critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills through the teaching of Mathematics and Design Technology.

In Mathematics , the teacher will help students develop a solid understanding of logical reasoning, quantitative analysis and mathematical modelling,



encouraging them to apply mathematical concepts to complex and real-world situations.

In Design Technology , the teacher will promote creativity, innovation and practical problem-solving through the design process, encouraging students to develop thoughtful and effective solutions to real-world needs and contemporary challenges.

The role aims to cultivate intellectual curiosity, resilience and a growth mindset, empowering students to think critically, collaborate effectively and apply their knowledge confidently, creatively and responsibly in both local and integral contexts.

Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging teaching plans for Design Technology and Mathematics, as well as other subjects or areas within the department when required.

Participate actively in department meetings and collaborative planning sessions.
