Job Description:
An opportunity for a
- Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Engineer *has arisen within
- Airbus Defence and Space *, Getafe (Spain).

The selected candidate will join a brand-new team inside the
- Military Derivatives department of Air Power *.
- RESPONSIBILITIES Analyse and validate
- metallic parts in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (F&DT;), as well as composite or hybrid structures.
- Write and check
- stress dossiers, justification reports, and test programs.
- Define justification approaches
- and ensure activity progress with Technical Authority support.
- Support manufacturing
- by assessing non-conformities on structural elements.
- Work closely
- with design engineers and communicate with internal/external stakeholders, experts, and civil or military authorities.

- Education:
- Master's degree in Mechanical,



Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (F&DT;).
- Soft skills:
- Autonomous approach, strong adaptability, open-minded, synthetic thinker, and good communication skills.
- Languages:
- Advanced level of English and Spanish (both written & spoken).

French is a plus.
- Technical knowledge:
- Good knowledge of Airbus calculation methods and tools, plus an understanding of digital tools and solutions.
- Valuable / Nice to have:
