DWS Corporate Functions Technology provides technology solutions for key corporate functions including Finance, Risk, Asset and Liability Management, AFC and other control functions. SIMS is a financial data warehouse used to deliver management KPIs, quarterly and annual reporting, and other business-critical reporting capabilities.
Maintaining, enhancing and optimising the existing SIMS reporting landscape, including reporting datasets, SQL queries, data models and report performance.
Supporting the rationalisation and migration of existing reports from legacy BI tooling to Tableau and other modern reporting technologies.
Building and enhancing data pipelines, reporting datasets and analytical data structures to support management KPIs, financial reporting and self‐service analytics.
Supporting reporting governance, including data quality,



lineage, provenance, controls and consistency of reporting outputs.
Working with the wider engineering team to ensure reporting solutions remain aligned with the application architecture, data architecture and broader technology standards.
We are looking for Degree, or equivalent qualification, in Computer Science, Business Information Technology, Engineering, Finance Technology or a related discipline.
Strong hands‐on experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle, including SQL development, query optimisation and working with large datasets.
Strong understanding of reporting data models, analytical data structures and data warehouse concepts.
Experience building, maintaining or optimising ETL/ELT data pipelines that support reporting and analytics use cases.
