Job Description: An opportunity for a Stress Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).

The selected candidate will join the Stress Department (Military Derivatives / Air Power).

We are building a brand-new team inside an ambitious and challenging new upcoming military Program that will help reinforce European sovereignty.

The team is dedicated to structural stress analysis and works in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment in close contact with internal engineering groups, experts, authorities, and external sub-contractors.

RESPONSIBILITIES The main tasks of the jobholder will be: Analyse and validate metallic, composite, or hybrid structures from a stress point of view.

Write and check stress dossiers, reports, technical justifications, test programs, and test reports.

Define justification approaches and ensure activity progress with support from Technical Authorities and Senior Engineers.





Support manufacturing processes by assessing structural non-conformities.

Collaborate closely with design engineers, experts, civil/military authorities, internal Airbus engineering teams, and subcontractors.

SKILLS Is your profile aligned to the following list of skills? Apply We are looking forward to know you: Education: Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Aerospace preferred).

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Stress Analysis.

Soft skills: Good communication skills, autonomous approach, high adaptability, open-mindedness, synthetic thinking, and openness to digital technologies.

Languages: Advanced level in English & French (both spoken & written).

Technical knowledge: Good knowledge of Airbus calculation methods and tools, analysis of metallic/composite/hybrid structures, and writing/checking stress dossiers and test programs.

Valuable / Nice to have: Spanish language
