Lead Planner – Construction - Badajoz

A leading integral AI infrastructure company is expanding its next-generation, renewable-powered data center portfolio in Spain and is looking for an experienced Planning Lead to take ownership of project planning and scheduling across design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.

This is a key project controls position where you will own the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), coordinate multiple contractor programmes, monitor physical progress and identify critical-path risks. You will have significant influence over how major construction packages are sequenced, delivered and recovered when projects move away from baseline.

The role also offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of construction planning and CAPEX management, translating programme milestones, procurement activity and physical progress into reliable investment phasing and cash flow forecasts. Based in Badajoz, you will work closely with Construction, Project Management, Procurement, Cost Control,



Finance and Commissioning teams within a large-scale data center environment.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) covering design, procurement, construction, utilities, energisation, commissioning and handover.
- Integrate and challenge contractor and vendor schedules across CSA, Electrical, Mechanical, BMS, Security, Power Infrastructure, utilities and other project packages.
- Monitor physical progress against the approved baseline and ensure consistent progress measurement across contractors and work packages.
- Perform critical path, schedule variance and delay analysis, identifying constraints, dependencies, milestone risks and potential impacts on completion dates.
- Develop mitigation and recovery plans with Construction, Project Management and contractors where progress deviates from approved milestones.
