As a Senior Software Engineer at adidas, you will help build scalable cloud-native platforms used by millions. You join an international engineering team, contributing to backend, frontend, APIs, and event-driven architectures across Digital Tech or Brand & Creation Technologies. You will define technical roadmaps, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality software. This role offers exposure to modern cloud-native stacks and a chance to shape adidas’ digital experiences.

Responsabilidades
Join an international team of engineers building cloud-native platforms
Help define the technical roadmap for services in scope
Design and develop microservices-based applications
Create rich APIs and integrate with other APIs and event platforms (e.g., Kafka)
Implement CI/CD using adidas platforms
Deploy and operate cloud-native solutions on Kubernetes
Align and evolve team processes and engineering standards
Implement code quality assurance, reviews, and best practices




Identify and manage technical debt
Mentor software engineers within the team
Engage with stakeholders including Business Teams, Product Owners, QA, Architects, SREs and external partners
Requisitos principales
College or university degree with focus on IT or equivalent education/experience
Minimum 7 years IT experience with product development lifecycle
Experience leading engineers or technical initiatives (a plus)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; fluent English
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools and processes
Strong software quality assurance mindset and engineering excellence practices

Backend: Java/Spring Boot and/or TypeScript/Node. xqbhyrx js; API design, data modelling, service integration
Frontend: TypeScript/JavaScript, modern frontend (ECMAScript), React.js with state management (Redux, MobX, Context API); HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS; Angular or Vue.js (optional)
Shared foundations: AI-assisted development tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor); prompt engineering; microservices and REST APIs; cloud platforms (AWS); Kubernetes; distributed systems; event-driven architectures; CI/CD
