In this role you design, build, and operate cloud networking control planes and services for Schwarz Group’s IT hub in Barcelona. You’ll shape scalable network solutions, REST APIs, and automated provisioning in a DevOps-enabled, agile environment. You contribute to distributed architectures with a focus on high availability and performance, while ensuring quality through CI/CD and thorough testing. This position offers a meaningful impact by enabling robust, scalable network products for a global retail ecosystem.
Responsabilidades
Design, develop, and operate cloud networking control planes (Load Balancer, WAF, CDN, VPN, API Gateway)
Design and implement scalable REST APIs for network products
Develop automation for provisioning, configuration, and management of network services
Work on architecture of distributed systems with emphasis on availability, scalability, and performance
Ensure code quality via reviews,



unit/integration tests, and CI/CD improvements
Support operation of self-developed services in a DevOps setup and troubleshoot complex issues
Collaborate in an agile team and write maintainable, well-documented code
Requisitos principales
Degree in computer science or comparable qualification, or relevant professional experience
Expert in at least one modern programming language, ideally Go
Solid experience with cloud technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, microservices)
Deep xqbhyrx understanding of distributed systems, API design (REST, gRPC), and databases (SQL/NoSQL)
DevOps experience with CI/CD (GitLab CI, ArgoCD) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
Team player in an agile environment
Good English skills
Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS) or strong interest in cloud networking
