As a Principal Product Designer, you will set design strategy across multiple product areas at Dow Jones and partner with SLT, ELT, and the C-suite to shape company direction. You will influence executive leadership, resolve strategic conflicts, and establish design practices and standards that scale across platforms. Your work will focus on turning complex, ambiguous challenges into clear, strategic roadmaps with measurable business impact. This role offers visibility, cross-functional impact, and the chance to elevate Dow Jones as a design leader in a transformed, global organization.

Responsabilidades
Set design strategy across multiple product areas and platform connections with executive leadership
Present to and influence executive leadership to translate design into competitive advantage
Lead company-wide strategic projects aligning products, platforms, and business units
Identify company-wide opportunities informing multi-year strategic planning
Establish design practices, frameworks, and tools that become industry benchmarks
Solve highly ambiguous, precedent-setting challenges and develop new approaches




Shape platform evolution across product areas to demonstrate value to users and executives
Develop senior design talent across multiple product areas and advise executives on leadership
Set and embody quality standards and governance across products, markets, and platforms
Build external partnerships with agencies, vendors, and academic institutions to amplify capabilities
Requisitos principales
10+ years of product design experience setting strategy for complex, multi-product organizations
Portfolio showing strategic impact at scale and measurable business value
Proven track record with C-level executives and boards
Experience balancing competing priorities and resolving strategic conflicts across multiple product areas
Excellence in platform thinking with standard-setting patterns
Thought leadership through speaking, publications, or industry xqbhyrx recognition
Ability to solve unprecedented challenges with new methods or frameworks
Strong business acumen linking design decisions to multi-year outcomes
Experience building design capabilities at scale including governance and talent development
Cross-functional and cross-geography collaboration to drive alignment on initiatives
Deep expertise across design disciplines and ability to coach others to high standards
Bachelors degree or equivalent in Design, HCI, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
