An opportunity for a Hardware/Software Assurance Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid).Department Mission: The successful applicant will join the Systems Engineering Department. Audit and oversee suppliers to ensure full compliance with RTCA/DO-254 and RTCA/DO-178 standards, including process controls, traceability, validation/verification, Requirements-Based Engineering, Single Event Upset (SEU) control, and equipment robustness.Define and control the required hardware and software documentation packages to be delivered by suppliers at each development phase per RTCA/DO-254 and RTCA/DO-178.Work jointly with equipment designers, Quality, Certification, Qualification, Safety, and Design Office teams to achieve civil and military aircraft equipment certification.We are looking forward to knowing you:Education: Degree in Engineering (Aeronautical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Systems, or a related discipline).Experience: Proven experience in Hardware Design Assurance and Software Design Assurance for aircraft equipment,
