In this Category Buyer role, you secure optimal Quality, Cost, and Delivery for a portfolio of components across European plants. You operate within a global procurement team, driving supplier management, strategic sourcing, cost optimization, and business continuity. You will collaborate with multiple functions to advance procurement transformation and supplier performance. This is an international, fast-paced environment where your decisions impact competitiveness and resilience. You will contribute to Schneider Electric's sustainability and efficiency goals through strategic sourcing and supplier leadership.

Responsabilidades
- Drive supplier performance and sustainable cost optimization while ensuring continuity




- Manage supplier relationships and conduct RFQs aligned with commodity strategies
- Execute supplier consolidation and mitigate supply chain risks
- Escalate and manage supplier crises as first point of contact
- Lead or participate in annual negotiations with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Implement cost reduction initiatives, including Value Engineering and Change of Source
- Achieve procurement productivity targets
- Collaborate with Marketing, R&D;, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing
- Support supplier initiatives and procurement transformation projects
- Contribute to procurement tools and maintain data accuracy

Requisitos principales
- Master's Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or Engineering degree with procurement experience)
- Fluent English; Spanish mandatory; French desirable
- Strong negotiation and supplier management capabilities
