Overview
As a Commodity Manager in strategic procurement, you drive the strategy and governance for sub-commodities within Navigation and Surveillance. You will lead cross-functional teams to secure cost-effective materials and services, manage supplier relationships, and optimize value and risk across programs. The role combines market insight, tendering and contract execution with a focus on profitability and sustainable supplier partnerships. You will work in a dynamic, globally connected procurement function that supports Airbus Defence and Space AirPower platforms.

Responsabilidades Establish, implement & monitor a Sub-Commodity strategy for your perimeter
Manage supplier relationships and supplier-related development programs
Lead the (Sub-) Commodity Multi-Functional Team
Lead and drive to conclusion bids, tenders and supplier selection processes
Lead and contribute to Procurement/Value Creation projects & initiatives to deliver synergies and savings




Lead negotiations with suppliers to meet program expectations
Set-up, negotiate and manage contractual agreements with suppliers
Lead Supplier Evaluation Development (SED) and Vendor Management
Requisitos principales Degree in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent (5+ years in procurement, engineering, services or project management)
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to persuade and influence
Experience in a matrix environment with proven stakeholder management
Ability to anticipate, assess and mitigate risks
Strong relationship building, team building, empowerment, motivation and conflict management
Negotiation level of English
Knowledge of SAP (asset)
