- Interpret client briefs, business objectives, target audiences and marketing strategies to develop creative concepts and visual solutions

- Contribute to creative strategies for campaigns, brands and digital initiatives

- Translate marketing and communication objectives into visual concepts and storytelling approaches

- Participate in brainstorming, campaign ideation and creative strategy sessions

- Recommend alternative creative approaches where appropriate

- Partner with Client Services, Strategy, Digital and other teams on integrated marketing solutions

- Present creative concepts, design rationale and recommendations internally and to clients

- Conceptualize, design and produce creative assets for advertising campaigns, social media, digital advertising, brand identity, websites, presentations, print, outdoor, email, events, video, animation and motion graphics

- Develop visual systems consistent across platforms and campaign touchpoints

- Provide art direction for photography, video, animation and other visual content

- Ensure creative output meets brand guidelines, client requirements and quality standards

- Manage multiple creative assignments while meeting deadlines

- Explore and recommend AI-powered and emerging creative tools

- Use AI for ideation, concept development, image generation, visual exploration, storyboarding, content adaptation, research and production workflows

- Identify opportunities to automate or streamline repetitive creative tasks while maintaining quality and human oversight

- Experiment with design, video, animation, prototyping and content-production technologies

- Share tools, workflows, prompts, techniques and best practices with the wider team

- Maintain copyright, brand integrity, confidentiality and responsible AI standards

- Modernize creative production processes and capabilities

- Design for digital platforms and understand platform-specific requirements across Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and Google





- Develop creative variations for audiences, formats and customer-journey stages

- Use campaign performance insights to recommend creative improvements

- Apply conversion-focused design fundamentals, including calls-to-action, landing-page design, visual hierarchy and user experience

- Research competitors, industries, audiences and cultural trends

- Monitor emerging visual trends, platforms, formats and technologies

- Share insights and recommendations to raise the team's creative, digital and AI capabilities

- Collaborate with account managers, strategists, digital marketers, copywriters, developers, photographers, videographers and external partners

- Participate in project kick-offs and briefing sessions

- Communicate timelines, dependencies and potential challenges

- Incorporate feedback while maintaining strategic and creative integrity

- Support improvements to creative workflows, briefing processes, quality assurance and project delivery

Requirements

-

- Professional experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Advertising, Digital Media or a related field

- 5+ years of professional design experience

- Preferably including 3+ years within an agency, integrated marketing or fast-paced creative environment

- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality design, conceptual thinking and campaign work across multiple channels

- Experience developing creative concepts from briefs rather than solely executing predetermined designs

- Strong understanding of branding, typography, layout, visual hierarchy, composition and storytelling

- Experience designing for digital and social media platforms

- Experience working on integrated campaigns across multiple channels

- Experience with motion graphics,



video editing or digital experiences is strongly preferred

- Strong proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro

- Experience with or willingness to develop proficiency in modern AI-enabled creative platforms and workflows is required

- Comfortable experimenting with generative AI platforms, AI-assisted Adobe capabilities, image and video generation tools, automation tools and emerging creative technologies

- Experience with Google Analytics and digital analytics platforms, content management systems, marketing automation platforms, digital advertising platforms, web design and prototyping tools, HTML5, basic UX/UI principles, copywriting or content development is an asset
