As an ERTMS Software Engineer, you configure and design wayside ERTMS equipment for main line projects, enabling safe, automated rail operations. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver ETCS configurations within scope and milestones. Your role covers all phases from requirements through commissioning, supporting testing and safety teams. This is a chance to shape railway signaling functionality in international projects with a focus on safety and reliability.

Responsabilidades

- Act as technical expert for ETCS subsystem behavior, engineering rules and data preparation
- Engineer ETCS-specific configuration based on project requirements




- Create and maintain ETCS software ensuring delivery within budget and milestones
- Support testing, verification and safety teams with software configuration and log analysis
- Drive all phases of the ATC application engineering cycle from requirements to commissioning

Requisitos principales

- Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field
- Solid experience in Rail Signaling, specifically ATC technologies (ERTMS, ASFA)
- Knowledge of SUBSET 026, 039, 040, and xqbhyrx CENELEC standards; V-life Cycle models
- Strong analytical skills for requirements analysis and data handling (Excel, VBA)
- Fluency in English and Spanish for international projects
