Job Description Summary
Reporting to the HSE Corporate Manager,
the Environmental & Biodiversity Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental and biodiversity regulations across Nadara's onshore wind and solar assets, while proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating environmental risks associated with the Company's operations – with particular focus on the detection and mitigation of impacts on birds, bats, and other protected flora and fauna.
The Environmental & Biodiversity Specialist will collaborate closely with Nadara's HSQE Team, Development & Construction and Country O&M; teams and their respective workers, as well as with external consultants, environmental authorities, and contractors. This role will be pivotal in strengthening Nadara's environmental management system and advancing the Organisation's biodiversity and sustainability objectives by implementing effective strategies that promote environmental stewardship, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement
