In this role, you will lead complex Java-based development within the Customer eXperience team to deliver scalable, high-quality software. You will guide peers, shape architecture, and drive technical improvements that impact travellers using Prime and related platforms. The position combines hands-on engineering with mentoring and cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid Madrid/Barcelona setting. You’ll work on maintainable systems, testability, and timely delivery, while continuously expanding your skills and contributing to a data-driven, innovative travel ecosystem.

Responsabilidades
- Provide technical guidance for complex initiatives and deliver strategic improvements




- Improve code structure, architecture, testability, and maintainability
- Deliver high-complexity projects with multiple stakeholders and manage timeline risks
- Lead code and architecture reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and business stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on objectives and solutions
- Continuously expand skills through learning and knowledge sharing
- Mentor and coach team members to grow technically

Requisitos principales
- Deep understanding of OOP, functional programming, concurrency, data structures, design and architecture patterns
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle including production deployments, testing (unit/integration), and Cloud/CI/CD environments
