Lead strategic planning and development initiatives
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and synergies
Strengthen agreement-based business and operational practices
Develop team capabilities and lead multicultural teams in a matrix organization
Lead selected sales cases and delivery execution
Lead or participate in initiatives related to the Improvement Projects and Roll Services business
Promote continuous development of team capabilities and assign responsibilities
Coordinate business strategy and annual planning for Improvement Projects and Roll Services
Report to the Vice President, EMEA Packaging and Paper Services
Requirements

8+ years of international experience in sales leadership, service projects, mill maintenance, and agreement-based business
Exposure to cross-functional, customer-facing roles
Strong understanding of customer interfaces and markets across EMEA
Proven strategic thinking and execution capabilities




Strong business acumen
People-oriented leadership style and commitment to enabling others’ success
Collaboration and networking skills within a integral matrix organization
Analytical mindset and ability to solve complex, multi-dimensional challenges
Willingness to travel approximately 40% of working time across EMEA
Familiarity with Valmet’s internal processes, tools, and systems considered an advantage
M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in a relevant field
