As Area Market Manager, you own the commercial performance of a group of markets within the Accommodation team, leading Market Managers and Specialists to grow and retain hotel accounts. You’ll drive area-level plans, negotiate with strategic partners, and embed AI-driven practices to optimize inventory, pricing, and promotions. This role sits at the crossroads of account management, partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration to support global growth and a superior customer experience. You will shape strategies, mentor your team, and partner with Inventory and other stakeholders to deliver measurable results.

Responsabilidades
Own KPIs for assigned markets and manage recovery plans for off-track accounts
Ensure content, rates,
and availability are competitive; secure inventory and promotions for high-demand periods
Translate account management strategy into quarterly area plans; align with overall area targets
Lead, coach, and develop Market Managers and Market Specialists; conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, and onboarding
Foster senior relationships with strategic accounts; escalate complex negotiations
Collaborate on cross-area initiatives and feed market insights back to Inventory
Embed AI into team processes; sponsor high-value AI use cases and coach responsible usage
Support Head of Account Management on wider business initiatives and projects
Requisitos principales
Proven experience in account management or sales in the hotel industry (must) with at least 5 years in a commercial role
Strong negotiation skills and a track record of building trusted relationships with key hotel xqbhyrx partners
Experience leading a commercial team with objective-
