As a Group Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving the resort’s commercial success by identifying, developing, and securing group business opportunities that contribute to revenue growth and position The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama as a premier luxury and MICE destination.
Developing and implementing sales strategies aimed at maximizing revenue and market share within the group segment.
Managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation through negotiation, contract signing, and post-sale follow-up.
Conducting site inspections, hotel presentations, and sales appointments to showcase the resort’s facilities and services.
Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and emerging business opportunities to enhance sales performance.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client, pipeline, and contract information within Marriott’s sales systems.
Representing the resort at trade shows, sales missions, industry events, roadshows, and networking opportunities.
Preparing sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for leadership teams.
Ensuring compliance with Marriott International sales standards, policies, and procedures.
Previous experience in hotel sales, group sales, MICE, events,



hospitality business development, or a similar commercial role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends, sales reports, and business opportunities.
Experience using CRM platforms, hotel sales systems, and business development tools.
Fluency in Spanish and English; additional languages will be considered a strong advantage.
A valid work permit for Spain.
