About this position We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Asset Liability Management (ALM) Senior Consultant. You will work in Treasury Division, part of the Finance and Administration department, and report to the ALM team. The Treasury Division is responsible for the execution of IDB Invest’s borrowing, hedging, trading, and cash management activities, as well as the ALM of IDB Invest’s overall balance sheet. Treasury is composed of four different units: Funding, Investments, Local Funding Solutions, and ALM.
Lead or co-lead projects associated to the enhancement of the balance sheet management framework of IDB Invest, including ALM, capital management and funds transfer pricing. Act as the technical lead in cross‑functional working groups,



representing Treasury ALM and shaping strategic discussions on ALM, capital management, and overall balance sheet management.
Support the implementation and enhancement of Treasury and ALM systems, data processes, governance documentation, policies, and reporting capabilities.
Perform analysis and monitoring of balance sheet risks, including interest rate risk, liquidity risk, foreign exchange risk, and earnings sensitivity.
Conduct IRRBB analyses, scenario testing, stress testing, and other quantitative assessments to support strategy development and decision‑making.
Prepare recurring and ad hoc analyses, reports, presentations, and recommendations for ALCO, and other governance committees.
Collaborate with Treasury, Risk Management, Controllership, Technology, and business teams on balance sheet management initiatives and strategic transactions, and financial risk management projects.
What you’ll need Education Master’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
Experience At least 10 years of progressive experience in Treasury, ALM or Risk Management.
Languages: Proficiency in English.
Type of contract and duration National Consultant (Local Remote Modality), 12 months (up to 48 months, if applicable), working fully remotely residing in a country where the IDB Group has an office.
2 days per month of contract + gender‑neutral parental leave.
