Job Description:
Introduction: An opportunity for a Quality Conformance & Supply Manager – MRTT Programme has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid).The selected candidate will join the MRTT Programme team, working in a multidisciplinary and international environment and collaborating closely with Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Engineering and Programme teams.
The jobholder will contribute to ensuring supplier performance and product conformity, with a strong focus on On-Time and On-Quality deliveries, customer protection, issue resolution and continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



The main tasks of the jobholder will be:
- Manage supplier operational performance, acting as the focal point towards suppliers and ensuring On-Time and On-Quality deliveries, while providing internal customers with the appropriate level of visibility and protection.
- Monitor and resolve supply chain deviations, leading recovery plans and implementing containment actions to minimize operational and programme impact.
- Ensure product conformity according to the defined quality inspection plan, performing the required quality inspections up to product delivery and attesting conformity against the approved design when applicable.
- Manage quality issues and non-conformities, interacting with suppliers as an escalation point and coordinating corrective and preventive actions with transversal departments, including customer protection and secondary flows.
