Overview

In this role you will design, build, and maintain scalable .NET backend services and APIs to support critical applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions and ensure high-quality, well-documented code. You will design RESTful APIs and microservices, work with relational databases, and contribute to code quality through reviews and troubleshooting. You’ll stay current with new technologies and drive improvements in development processes. This is an opportunity to impact scalable backend platforms at Hitachi Energy in Madrid.

Responsabilidades

- Develop, test, and deploy backend services using C# and the .NET framework
- Collaborate with frontend, product managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
- Work with SQL Server and PostgreSQL for data storage and retrieval
- Write clean,



documented code following best practices and standards
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and architectural adherence
- Troubleshoot production issues for timely resolutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requisitos principales

- Proven experience as a .NET Backend Developer
- Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework (.NET Core/.NET 5+)
- Solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORM (Entity Framework Core)
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and development
- Experience with Git
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good communication skills in English and Spanish
