and maintain AVEVA Process Optimization (APO) Real-Time Optimization (RTO) Closed Loop applications for ethylene/steam cracker plants.
- Develop, validate, and maintain rigorous process models of ethylene cracker complexes, including cracking furnaces, transfer line exchangers, quench systems, compression trains, acid gas removal, drying, cold section, refrigeration systems, and product separation/fractionation.
- Apply strong ethylene cracker process knowledge to represent feedstock effects, furnace severity, coil outlet temperature, steam-to-hydrocarbon ratio, yields, energy consumption, equipment constraints, and operating economics.
- Configure and troubleshoot online model execution, including plant data acquisition, data validation/reconciliation, model parameter estimation, model-to-plant matching, optimization, and automated execution sequences.
