Key Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and maintain robust relational database solutions using PostgreSQL.

● Design and maintain database schemas, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and high performance.

● Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and database operations.

● Create and maintain views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

● Analyze and troubleshoot data integrity and database-related issues.

● Develop REST APIs using Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript.

● Build and maintain integrations between backend applications, APIs, and databases.

● Develop and maintain automated unit tests using tools such as Jest.

● Monitor and improve database performance through query optimization and performance tuning.

● Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective database and backend solutions.

● Participate in Agile methodologies and ceremonies, working within environments such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.

● Work with Git and collaborative development workflows to ensure efficient and maintainable code delivery.

Required Skills & Experience:

● 3+ years of professional experience as a Database Developer.

● Strong knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.

● Proven experience designing and maintaining relational database schemas.

● Experience with database performance tuning and query optimization.

● Hands-on experience creating and maintaining views, stored procedures,



functions, and triggers. ● Experience analyzing and troubleshooting data integrity issues.

● Strong knowledge of TypeScript.

● Experience building REST APIs using Node.js and Express.js.

● Experience writing automated unit tests, preferably with Jest.

● Solid experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.

● Basic knowledge of backend application development and API/database integrations.

● Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective database solutions. ● Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.

● Good communication and collaboration skills.

● Proficient English, both written and spoken.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

● Experience with Azure Database Services.

● Experience with Azure CI/CD.

● Knowledge of data modeling and data governance concepts.

● Experience with ETL and data integration processes.

● Experience supporting reporting and BI solutions.

● Experience with database migrations and versioning.

● Experience working with large-scale datasets and performance-sensitive systems.

● Proactive mindset and willingness to learn.

● Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
