Overview

In this role you will drive the design and validation of airborne electronic hardware within the A/C & Mission System Integration Rigs domain. You will ensure DO-254/DO-160 compliance, coordinate hardware and firmware development, and support certification activities with authorities. You will work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, reliable airborne systems through the full life-cycle from design to production. The scope includes defining requirements, conducting reviews, and managing supplier work packages in a high-integrity, high-reliability context.

Responsabilidades

- Ensure compliance with aerospace standards DO-254 and DO-160
- Prepare technical documentation aligned with certification processes
- Support hardware/software validation, integration, qualification and environmental testing campaigns
- Define hardware and firmware requirements and allocate system-level requirements
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware developers, systems designers and certification authorities
- Participate in technical reviews with internal teams and external authorities (INTA, EASA)




- Review component selection for reliability, obsolescence, thermal and environmental constraints
- Manage supplier work packages for design, manufacturing, validation and verification during prototype and production phases

Requisitos principales

- 10+ years of experience in equipment development for airborne systems
- 5+ years of experience in DO-254 Certification
- 5+ years of experience in Environmental Qualification
- Strong expertise in DO-254, Environmental Qualification, Validation and Verification, Process Assurance, Safety critical analysis
- Proven experience in system and equipment validation/verification and safety-critical development environments
- Experience with FPGA-based systems and RF electronics
- Knowledge of certification processes and airborne standards (DO-254, DO-160, MIL-STD)
- Exposure to full product lifecycle from concept to certification and production
- Professional working proficiency in English
