Overview

In this role you will manage supplier contracts, quality, and performance to secure on-time delivery and cost effectiveness. You will act as the liaison between suppliers and internal functions, driving risk mitigation, containment, and continuous improvement. You will coordinate with SCQM and the Supplier Development Team to shape inspection plans, capacity forecasts, and development targets. You will report on supplier performance in governance forums and support ethical and compliant ways of working across the organization.

Responsabilidades

- Act as focal point for supplier operational activities and contract management, and ambassador to internal functions
- Manage supply chain and quality aspects of contracts, ensuring on-time and on-quality performance (and on-cost where applicable)
- Contain non-conformities (L1) to protect customers and secondary flows
- Identify and create quality inspection plans with SCQM in alignment with stakeholders
- Provide consolidated supplier capacity forecasts and ensure required capacity
- Assess supplier capacity, capability, and performance; contribute to supplier development




- Identify supplier industrial risks and propose mitigations; develop short-term containment plans with suppliers
- Coordinate with SCQM-Supply Chain Quality Management to support root-cause analysis and CAPA
- Initiate and manage supplier performance improvement projects; set long-term development targets with suppliers and Supplier Development Team
- Contribute to annual Supplier Evaluation Development (SED)
- Present supplier operational performance (KPIs like OTD) at MFT meetings and Vendor Review Boards
- Maintain close coordination with internal customer-site teams to ensure cross-functional delivery
- Ensure ethical and compliant working per Airbus Code of Conduct
- Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to integrity for sustainable growth
