This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Internal Auditor based in Spain.

As an Internal Auditor, you will have the opportunity to build and shape an internal audit function within a profitable, fast-growing general technology environment.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will design scalable audit processes that support international operations, growth, and strong governance.
You will manage the full audit lifecycle, from risk assessment and planning through control testing, reporting, and remediation.
The role combines hands-on audit execution with strategic thinking about how technology, automation, and data can modernize the audit profession.
You will work closely with senior leaders and operational stakeholders to identify risks, strengthen controls, and deliver actionable insights.
You will also provide regular visibility to the Audit Committee and help establish a modern framework capable of evolving with the business.




This is a highly autonomous remote role for an intellectually curious professional who enjoys working in a distributed, international environment.

Accountabilities
- Establish, develop, and maintain the infrastructure supporting the internal audit function, including audit templates, risk registers, reporting frameworks, and operating cadences.
- Own and execute the full internal audit lifecycle, including planning, risk assessment, walkthroughs, control testing, documentation, reporting, and follow-up.
- Evaluate global policies, processes, and controls to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas of elevated risk.
- Partner with process owners and operational stakeholders to conduct risk-based audits and implement scalable improvements.
- Develop risk-based internal audit programs aligned with the organisation's global operations, growth priorities, and evolving risk profile.
