Functionally, the Candidate is part of the Project, with the main mission of stablish a test strategy to verify that theelectronic units meet the requirements specified by the customer, in accordance with project schedule, cost andquality requirements. In a day-to-day basis, she/he will report to Project Manager.
Within each project, the Test Manager is the Responsible of the Verification of the design and manufacturing of theunit, acting as a key role of the Project Team. The Candidate will work very closely to the Technical Manager, ProjectManager, Product Assurance Manager, the Industrial Manager, the Validation Manager and the EEE/PCB manager.
The Test Manager's tasks comprise the complete verification cycle of an electronic equipment: from the analysis ofthe requirements in the Negotiation Phase to the acceptance campaign of the flight deliverables,



once successfullypassed the qualification of the unit.
For this purpose, the Candidate will supervise, aligned with Project and Team objectives, the activities of the projectteam composed of the test engineers and technicians responsible of the validation of the Flight Unit.*Active participation in the technical discussions with the customer during the Negotiation Phase, prior to formal kick-off of the project up to the in flight operations of the Space System.
Assist to the Project Manager in the requirement assessment and in the risk identification.
Close collaboration with the Technical Manager in the definition of the architecture of the Flight Unit based on the project requirements to optimize it and the Ground Equipment designs focusing on a Design for testing philosophy.
