We’re looking for an Electrical & Automation Engineer

We are looking for an Electrical & Automation Engineer to join our Engineering team and contribute to the design and development of our industrial machinery.

The position has a strong focus on Electrical Engineering, covering electrical design, schematics, cabinets and component selection. We are particularly interested in candidates who can also contribute to PLC programming and machine automation.

What will you be doing?

- Design electrical systems and machine schematics using EPLAN.
- Define electrical architectures including power, control, safety, communications and I/O.
- Design electrical cabinets and select components such as protections, power supplies, drives, servos, motors and sensors.
- Work closely with the Mechanical and Automation teams during machine development.
- Support the development and modification of PLC and HMI software.
- Configure drives, servos, I/O and industrial communication networks.
- Participate in machine safety design and ensure compliance with applicable electrical and machinery standards.
- Support electrical and software troubleshooting during assembly, FAT and commissioning.
- Maintain EBOMs, electrical documentation and engineering standards.
- Contribute to the standardisation and continuous improvement of our machine platforms.

What are we looking for?

Essential

- Experience in electrical design for industrial machinery.




- Electrical schematics and EPLAN.
- Electrical cabinets and industrial component selection.
- Knowledge of drives, servos, motors, sensors and industrial control systems.
- Understanding of machine safety and industrial electrical standards.

Highly valued

- PLC programming experience.
- Siemens TIA Portal and/or Beckhoff TwinCAT.
- HMI development.
- Industrial communication networks.
- Safety PLC programming.
- Commissioning and machine troubleshooting experience.

We are looking for someone who combines a strong Electrical Engineering foundation with an interest in Automation and Software, and who enjoys working across the complete machine development process, from design to commissioning.
