In this role you contribute to technology, software, and solution development within ABB Robotics. You act as the first R&D; contact for product-related issues and drive innovative solutions. You help build and maintain a cutting-edge localization and testing automation stack, collaborating with cross-functional teams across Spain and Switzerland. This position offers hands-on impact in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment with real-world robotics applications.

Responsabilidades

- Implement CI/CD integrations, infrastructure improvements, and job orchestration features to boost development and release velocity
- Develop, maintain and scale automated test execution pipelines across virtual and HIL environments for the Robotic Systems team




- Optimize the backend of the on-premise map sharing solution
- Serve as the primary R&D; contact for product-related issues and contribute innovative solutions

Requisitos principales

- 3+ years of Software Engineering experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Robotics or a related field
- English communication proficiency
- Proficiency in Python and at least one compiled language (Rust or C++)
- Experience with DevOps topics: containerization, virtualization, OS deployment and configuration on Linux and Debian-based distributions
- Bonus: web backend (REST), frontend (React), agentic engineering, IPv4 networking
- Bonus: familiarity with robotics, ROS2, embedded Linux (Jetson)
