We are looking for a strong professional for the role of European AI Coordinator, with a fully European scope within the Digitalisation function, reporting directly to European Director of Digitalisation.
As a key player in our digital transformation journey, you will lead the development, deployment, and scaling of AI solutions across Europe, with a strong focus on applying AI to our industrial operations and customer applications. This role combines strategic leadership and hands-on execution, ensuring AI delivers tangible business impact across operations and commercial functions. You will also own key platforms such as the AI Garage and AI Ops, while playing an active role in AI governance through the AI Committee, leveraging open innovation approaches to accelerate development and adoption of AI solutions.

Key responsibilities
- Define and drive the European AI roadmap aligned with business priorities.
- Lead AI Operative team, ensuring reliable deployment, monitoring, and scaling of AI solutions.
- Contribute to AI governance and actively participate in the AI Committee.
- Own the AI Garage, driving rapid experimentation and industrialisation of use cases.
- Coordinate AI initiatives across regions and ensure replication of successful solutions.
- Identify and structure high-value AI use cases with business stakeholders, including industrial operations and customer applications.
- Drive open innovation initiatives, collaborating with startups, universities, and external partners to accelerate AI capabilities and solutions.
- Track KPIs such as adoption, usage, scalability, and efficiency gains of AI solutions (e.g., hours saved, active usage, model performance, and replication across regions).
Background
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are a strong plus, with Scandinavian languages considered an advantage (not a requirement).
- Strong knowledge and practical application of AI tools and technologies.
- Proactive and curious mindset, with a keen interest in market trends, innovation, and emerging developments.
- Ability to lead through influence in a complex, multicultural European environment.
- Experience supporting and integrating M&A; (Mergers & Acquisitions) activities and transformations.
