The Role Great finance teams don't just report the future — they help build it. We're a fast-growing global renewable energy company on a mission to accelerate the energy transition. As part of our dynamic team in Spain, we're looking for a Financial Accountant to help shape the future of our finance function.
Reporting to the Accounting & Tax Manager, the Financial Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting. You'll be responsible for leading month-end closing activities and end-to-end accounting processes, preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and reports, and performing account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
The Financial Accountant will also review financial statements and liaise with external auditors for both statutory and consolidated audits, while actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our accounting and reporting practices.
Desirable skills:
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field — ideally with a specialisation in Auditing or Financial Reporting.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial best practices.
- Hands-on experience with SAP.
- Advanced Excel and digital fluency, with a proven ability to leverage AI and technology to optimise processes and drive actionable insights.
- Full professional proficiency in both Spanish and English, written and spoken.
We use English as our business language, please submit your CV in English. **We deploy AI across the business, from generation and trading decisions to the everyday workflows of every team. We invest in our people’s digital fluency so everyone works alongside these tools with confidence. Studies show that many qualified candidates hesitate to apply unless they meet every requirement.
If this role excites you, but you don’t meet every single qualification, we still encourage you to apply. We value diverse skills, perspectives, and experiences that contribute to a stronger team.** In line with EU pay transparency requirements, salary ranges will be shared with candidates in the EU before progressing to the next stage of the recruitment process, and always before interview. This range reflects the typical starting pay for new hires.
Pay above this level may apply in specific circumstances based on experience, skills, or role scope.
