As a Clinical Programmer - Expert at Novartis, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Risk-Based Quality Management (RbQM) and our Central Monitoring platform. You will be responsible for data-driven clinical operations through advanced analytics, intelligent reporting, and scalable technology solutions. Working alongside cross-functional experts, you will help shape the future of clinical data operations by delivering meaningful insights, driving operational excellence, and enabling smarter decisions across general clinical studies.
Job Description
- Configure Central Monitoring Platform outputs using SAS programming and clinical data standards
- Develop analytics dashboards,



reports, data pipelines, and monitoring outputs for clinical operations
- Translate business needs into practical, scalable technical solutions that improve user experience
- Extract, clean, merge, subset, and derive clinical and operational datasets
- Partner with study teams, statisticians, and Central Monitoring colleagues to clarify output requirements
- Execute quality checks and validation routines to ensure complete, accurate monitoring data
- Support existing dashboards, reports, and pipelines through scheduled refreshes and performance monitoring
- Coach associate programmers, share technical knowledge, and contribute to reusable programming standards

Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
- Ideally 6-7 years of experience in clinical programming, clinical data analytics, with good knowledg
