Experteer Overview
As a Data Engineer in our Madrid Digital Services team, you will design, build, and operate enterprise-grade reporting and analytics. You will create scalable data pipelines and curated models across disparate systems, establishing master data foundations on Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or equivalent platforms. You will enable trusted reporting through Power BI and support a cost-management initiative with a governed data solution. You’ll partner with finance and operations to deliver measurable business outcomes and maintain governance and DevOps practices.

• Lead end-to-end design and implementation of a reporting platform ingesting data from multiple internal systems into cloud platforms (Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or equivalent)
• Design and maintain batch data pipelines using ELT/ETL patterns and orchestration frameworks
• Develop and govern master/reference data structures for consistent definitions and reporting quality
• Profile, cleanse, transform, and validate source data; implement data quality controls and auditability
• Build reusable lakehouse/warehouse/semantic models optimized for reporting and self-service
• Apply AI-assisted approaches for data classification, anomaly detection, and metadata enrichment
• Deliver Power BI datasets, semantic models, dashboards, and reports with security and performance considerations
• Own the cost management data solution including cost-rate database design, ingestion workflows, and reports
• Partner with finance, ops, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data products
• Establish DevOps/platform operations practices including monitoring, release management, and documentation
• Define and enforce data governance, metadata, lineage, access control, privacy, and retention
• Provide technical leadership across architecture, build, testing, deployment, and run-state support
Responsabilidades
• 8-10 years of hands-on data engineering, analytics engineering, or enterprise reporting experience
• Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, Microsoft Purview, Databricks or equivalent
• Advanced SQL and Python; Spark/PySpark experience desirable
• Expertise in dimensional modelling, semantic layer design, data warehousing, lakehouse concepts, and MDM
• Experience building Power BI data models, DAX measures, governance, deployment pipelines, and interactive reporting
• Experience integrating data from ERP/finance/procurement HR, CRM and other systems via APIs, flat files, or databases
• Solid understanding of data quality frameworks, testing, reconciliation, and production support
• Experience designing secure, maintainable data platforms with access controls and compliance-aware engineering
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritize, and engage with technical and senior stakeholders
• Excellent English and Spanish communication skills
